Evidence and progress
In a short time AgriSynth has come a long way in a brand new market and is an international leader in synthetic imagery
Innovate UK projects
In its first year, AgriSynth was awarded a Smart grant to develop a high precision vsision system for blackgrass in wheat together with an intial taergeting system. This was delivered successfully in 2024. In 2025 we secured an Agri-Tech grant for developing a matching high-precision liquid applicator to a Proof-of-Concept, TRL4 level and this was also successfully delivered. AgriSynth intend to take these two components forward in combination although our focus will always be software.
Global Incubator Programs
We won a position on the GIP for Canada which involved learning about that market, meeting with potential partners and customers and visiting on two occasions. We focussed on grain quality as an emerging market and secured customer angagement in that sector.
We then won another GIP, this time is Australia where we continued the grain work as well as made many contacts for activities in other crop sectors.
Technical milestones
We have built a modelling system that can genrate monocot and dicot plants and insert them in an conbinations and densities into image scrnes with an camera angle andlighting conditions. We then developed futher where we can anlayse real-world images in extreme details to ghelp configure syntheric images based more on the exact camera view that the vision system is using . This takes into account things like saturation distribution, micro-texture; things that most people never consider.
Now, iin 2026 our backend systems are fully automated and we are developing a connectivity platform for humans and machines alike.
